The two fields of work at this Institute for Advanced Studies: "Art in Progress" and "Fiction meets Science" were presented in a single art book made as a "double book". Opening the cover to two books: a narrower book on the left containing the biographies of the artists and a square book on the right - showcasing work samples of the artists. The page numbering on each side correlates for easy reference.

 

To demonstrate the interconnection of science and art, the design was based on a word play of the study fields"Art in Progress" and "Fiction meets Science" for example:

Progress meets fiction

Science fiction in progress

and so forth.
